The original firm was founded in Vienna by Dr. Hans Rant in 1972 and in1984, together with Dr. Kurt Freyler, the current firm “Dr. Hans Rant & Dr. Kurt Freyler Rechtsanwaelte OG” was founded. 

Since 1995, Attorney Mag. Hans Pircher (Master of Laws) has been working as a regular substitute in the firm. 

We represent both individuals and businesses in all areas of civil and business law. We specialize in business law, corporate law, real estate law,  building law, tort law, insolvency law, inheritance law and financial criminal law. 

Our firm has since its beginning been active in insolvency matters, our lawyers are regularly appointed by the courts to serve as administrators / receivers in bankruptcy cases. 

We also represent businesses and individuals in insolvency matters. We represent banks and factoring companies. 

Our firm acts as legal counsel to the Royal Danish Embassy. As a result of his long experience as a professional representative, Dr. Hans Rant has gained a comprehensive knowledge in the field of professinal conduct. 

Founder- und firmpartner Dr. Hans Rantwas was given emeritus status in march 2015.

We represent clients in legal matters before courts and administrative authorities, as well as also acting as an arbitrator and consultant in non-judicial issues.
